New Drugs - Sold Out
Thanks to everyone who picked a copy up, New Drugs For Nuclear Families Of The Seventies is now out of print! I would take the shop link down right now, but I'm tired. Hope you all enjoyed it! It's still one of my favorite Milieu records, and maybe sometime in the future it will see a repress.
Interview From Augsburg
For anyone who wants a laugh, I recently received the recording of the complete interview I did while in Germany last October. The entire situation was pretty funny and surreal...literally as soon as we walked up to the hostel we were staying in, these three German university students all yelled "BRIAN!" and ran over to us. I had agreed previously in email to do the interview if they had beer, but of course drinking beer compounded with the jetlag of a 10 hour flight did not make for a very easy interview. Needless to say, we all had a good time and as soon as it was over, I promptly went upstairs, ate a sandwich and slept for almost 15 hours.
As a side note, this is the complete unedited interview. There is an edited version featured on CD-R copies of the liveset that was what these guys ended up using for their Lab30 livestream. I would've included this version on the CD-R but unfortunately they only gave me their edit before and I couldn't wait any longer at the time to press those CD-Rs up.
MILIEU - INTERVIEWED BY LEON ZARBOCK, OCTOBER 23RD 2007
Also, here are some photos from the liveset that I hadn't thought to upload until now...

Obligatory/Inevitable New Year's Post
Of course, no new year is complete without a happy (if not late) New Year's message from Milieu! Actually, you could probably do without all my talking so let's just get to the point - I want to thank everyone who has continually helped support me this year, no tacky naming of names, but you all know who you are. Everyone who donated for Germany, bought all my crazed output, downloaded it, blogged about it, whatever. It all helps keep this stuff going! So, as a little thanks, here's a song, just for you...
Coppice Halifax - Lush Q
This is a totally fun, one-off track I did when I was a bit drunk and trying to channel some Cylobian Sunset and DMX Krew (aren't I always?), so check it out!
Needless to say, you can healthily expect 2008 to be chock-full of more Brian Grainger musical overdriving. There's already a ton of stuff in the works, and a few things leftover from 2007 that were meant to be released last year. I'll also say it was pretty awesome to have taken all of 2007 off from making Milieu records...I got the chance to really explore alot of other territories with other projects and collaborations, and now I'm already kicking the Milieu tunes back out again! Not gonna say too much, but over 30-something tracks have been laid to tape and a solid 10 track album with one or two 3" singles is already imminent. The word "vinyl" has been floating around the EED HQ as well...
Happy 2008!

Our Blue Remixes - Sold Out
If you have not already caught it over at EED HQ, Our Blue Remixes is now sold out! Well, don't freak out, it's not COMPLETELY gone...I have a small handful of copies left (less than 5) so if anyone is still seeking one out, email me (charlie83 (at) second-sun.net) and let me know.
Thanks to everyone who ordered this record - we loved it but we didn't think it would sell nearly this well! With things as relative as remix albums, you never can really tell how well it will do. Nevertheless, we are proud to have made it happen and we hope everyone out there enjoyed the music.
